One of the aims of The Burney Society (UK) is to restore the memorial plaques of Frances Burney d’Arblay and that of her half sister Sarah Harriet, which were removed from St Swithin’s Church, Walcot, in the early twentieth century. Please read Bill Fraser’s Restoration Appeal for further details.
